My first Singapore Flyer experience was just GREAT!!!! I always love the scenic view from high above. Everytime i take a plane i will look forward to a window seat where i can get a panoramic view of the ground. Singapore Flyer was better because you can get a very clear view of the scenery unlike the clouds that sometime block the view from planes. I would like to go for another ride but this time would be for the night view!

after today's incident with some people i have finally come to realise how selfish an individual can be. i am trying me best to tell myself that its just human nature. i hope i can convince myself.

overtime after we get to know someone his/her true colours will reveal. after my previous encounter, i am now very sure with myself that i should never judge a book by its cover. the wolf may be in disguise of a lamb. it can be horrifying to come to face the fact.

well.... just take it that i had never said anything before. it does not pay good to be kind. some may misinterpret my doings as busybody but my intention is for the sake of everyone. to do something especially for my co workers. however, there is no team effort to make it work. the chance is here for you to make things right but no one is willing to speak up. do not regret.

the main and only reason is their self-centred. the protection for themself. so do not tell me how u appreciate, how much u cherish, how glad you are ... pack of lies. good at talking but do nothing only. what about your people?? well.... today i saw your true colours.

as for me.. from today onwards i will only do my own stuffs and only concern about people who are worth my concern. after time if its not suitable for me, i shall say goodbye.

Yupz.. Metro City Square is finally opened!!

2 weeks of preparation and merchandising is full of sweat and dust. Toys department is not as easy as i thought. Hmm.. still trying to get use to it. Alot of things to learn and catching up to do. I do not know how to describe my feelings. I am trying to learn as much as i can but i still misses paragon and all my colleagues there. I need to adapt fast!!!! I only can i say i am still "in transit" ..... moving towards my destination.

To: All my fellow colleagues of Metro Paragon

Time really flies. It's coming to 1 year since i've worked at Metro Paragon. Now i am transferred to City Square. Today is my last day working at Metro Paragon. And the most memorable day ever.

Thanks for all the great wishes from my fellow colleages, staff and promoters. Thanks for all the gifts too. Really touched and appreciate all you guys have done. Thanks for the wonderful memories you all have given me during my stay. Thanks to my staff Chun May, June, William, Carmen for the support all these while. A BIG thanks to Amy and Kevin. Without the continuous support and guidance I would not have come these far today. To my CS colleagues. Really happy working with you all during my 2 month stay. Lydia, Ima, Maggie and Hana thanks for the joy and laughter. Will miss all of you. Especially... "Naughty Boy.. Raboo will bite you!" ....... My darling Pearlynn a pity you are not around today. Thanks to you and Joselyn for the pen. Like it lots. Catherine, Pei Pei, Aileen, Rosita.... great to have know all of you. Too many people to mention ... It's a joy to have worked with all of you.

It was indeed a tearful goodbye. We will meet again. Take care all.....

Dinner with Amy

Had dinner with Amy and colleagues who will be transferring to City Square. Great food and fish head curry. But quite an emotional dinner. So sad to part with our great department manager. It is a memorable dinner and one i'll never forget.

Rock Haji Lane

I combed almost every shop in Haji Lane with Beng on Saturday. And I got myself so many nice tees. Haji Lane is becoming my top and favourite shopping destination ever. Never had I been able to get so much tees at the same time at shopping malls nowadays. All because I will end up wearing the same stuff with others on the streets. And I hate it. I am just lucky on Saturday to grab all these at great deals. Nothing more than $40 per tee. Mostly are less than $30. Will hit Haji Lane again when the new season stocks come again.

LOST CROCS??!!!!

The left side of a pair of Crocs (Men's Athens, Pearl White/Turqoise, M10) went missing overnight!! The poor slipper was used less than 5 times before it got stolen. A pair of lime green Havainnas however, was unwanted by the thief. The thief was believed to only like slippers and only the left foot. The owner, Eden was amazed by this whole incident. He could not believe that such a stupid thief exists. What can the thief do with the left side of the slipper?

Anyone with news or sightings of the missing slipper can leave a message on the shoutbox on the right hand side of this page.

Bad Day

It was a bad day!

I was told I had shortage of $142.70 yesterday when i was at the cashier. I did not charge customer. It could have declined or no dial tone.

Maybe it really happenend. I cannot remember. Was too busy. Too many customers. I did not deny fault. I accepted it. I may have overlooked. But why is she so inhuman? No alternatives were given to me. She did not bother to help. I was labelled a culprit. Fed Up. Really too much. It is $142.70!! Not $14.27! She did not thought of how people felt. This amount is equivalent to part of my OT = I worked for nothing these few days. You are the in charge and that was the way you treated people. THANK YOU! So many people touched that counter and because it was my login ID. So the culprit is me. Think about it.... everyone is so damn busy and I have to take care of so many things. Errors like that are inevitable. You should try to understand.

Of course, the boiling me did not give in. Went straight to ATM, drew money and put the exact amount right in front of her immediately. At that point of time I only thought of shutting her gap. Only after that I felt the pain. My effort and hard work these few days just flushed away. Yes, I was rude but I do not give a damn!

Really appreciate Yu Chan's help. And all those who listened and showed concern. Thank You Mr. Tan for helping me waive the amount. Really appreciate lots!!

A really bad day for me. But I learnt a lesson. We must always spare a thought for others. And try to help all our colleagues when they were in need. They are our internal customers too. Only then we can work together well.

met up with my bros for mahjong again. Shouldn't War 3 starts after War 2?? But we cannot resist so we brought forward. Despite losing money but still damn SHIOK!! when's the next session??? >_<

5th aug

amazing!!!! it was empty when i stepped into expo hall 5. within only 8 hrs we set up the whole area with wagons and wagons!!!! no aircon and i was "raining"!!! but quite FUN!!! but very tired!! tink too hot den gt severe headache when i go home.

6th aug

Set Up Day!!!! busy busy busy. phone ringing non stop. suppliers looking for me. display all we can and was ready for the preview.

Transfer List announced. I am transferred to City Square. Mixed feelings. Happy because the management has given me a chance to do something new and a great exposure to witness the opening of a new departmental store. Sad because i gotta leave my "darlings" at Paragon. Don't want to say redi. sooooo sadd!!!!!! =(

METRO EXPO SALE!! All the aunties running in when we opened!! All snatching for CROCS!!!! haha!!!

Now I am soooo damn exhausted and tired. I really need some good rest. Yea... after my clothes finish spinning in the washing machine!!

Recently, i had been in contact with this topic. Life & how to make gd use of it? Some people feels that life should be luxurious. In fact, most of the people i know tells me that. I do not understand why. Simplicity is a way of enjoying life. At the current phase of my life, that's how i feel.

Do you need all the luxury to enjoy life? I do not think so. You may have everything you want but you are not happy. It just satisfy a craving for that luxury. Yes it is wonderful and great when you get to enjoy and have the luxury but it does not last forever. I am on leave this week and people kept asking me where i am going. Do i only take leave to go on holidays? Why do people always think like that?

I am on leave but it does not mean I have to go on a holiday. Taking a break to relax. Meet up with friends. Learn driving. Recharge myself for the coming sales and events that i have to handle. It's just so simple. Why does people have to think otherwise? Is it because of the society and environment that we are in that cause people to think that way?

Sometimes I do wonder.

Precious Break

This coming leave that i am having is precious. After that i will be damn busy all the way till September. Lots of jobs are lining up in August. Another reason why my leave is precious is because of something which i have to go through and i am totally not confident of. =(

Still i will enjoy myself to the fullest next week. I need to make use the best of my time. >_<

Something is amiss somewhere and somehow. I hope it is not true.

SUAY!!!

Sometimes we have to believe what old people say. When you get scolded and scolded for the day, the rest of your day will not be good also. Today, I experienced it myself. It's terrible. Like the saying goes.. PANTANG!!!!

It's really discouraging. I have been trying and trying all these while and taking all my lessons seriously. Why must you always tell me that I am "JIALAT, NEVER USE BRAIN, TERRIBLE etc.??" If I could I also hope I can be excellent. I also want to pass the test. But I have to be always put down by your words. Saying things like I will be scolded by tester and you will also be. I am getting you to be scolded. I am the cause. WHY???? Different people learn differently and at different pace. I am not perfect but cant you be more understanding??I need to work also and I got other commitments. I am fuming and burning but I swallowed just because you are my relative.

I am in a dilemma. I hate to go for your lesson because you always make me feel terrible after that. Never had i felt good or encouraged after lesson. I want a change of instructor but my test is next month and your bloody name and NRIC is registered for my test. What can i do???

Thanks to your lashing for the day. Play mahjong also lose money. It's not the money that matters but nothing seems to go on well for me today after your lashing! That really IRKS me to the core! That's why I say PANTANG!! First thing in the day get scolding from people and the rest of the day is spoilt.

Enough of my rants or venting of my frustration. Mahjong is fun and addictive. Learnt alot on the game today from my mistakes. Thanks to poh wei and his mum for the great dinner at his place today. Very nice home cook dishes!! Really appreciate that! Bros... when shall our next session be??
