DIAOZ!!! A wasted trip lo. ( maybe..) Today's interview i felt that i did ok. i wasn't nervous. did not stammer. the panel looks keen and was smiling at me when i spoke ( unlike the other time... ). i was rather confident too. but i was out at round 1. somehow i wondered if it was due to my ORD date. i really wonder.... and it was quite true ..........................................................
darren gt in to round 2. but ..... at the reception, he gt rejected when the lady checked his particulars. reason being that if he gt in thru all rounds today, their intake will be in august. that means.. we have not ORD!!! thats y kena rejected. but the previous time, due to their negligence, they let him passed to round 2. by right, if in round 1, we dun fit the criteria, we will be eliminated.
maybe its my ORD date that caused my elimination. but nontheless i should also improve further on my communication skills. i may not have done as well as i felt today. at least, i feel better knowing about not fitting their criteria. that might have caused my elimination.
A wasted trip?? i don't think so. at least i had another experience. FAILURE IS THE ROAD TO SUCCESS. gonna try again..!!! =D

Lovely pineapple tarts
This is the heavenly pineapple tarts that i always cannot resist during the CNY annually. The best i've eaten and its only made from the golden hands of my grandaunt. YUM... ~slurps~

Watched Ah Long Pte Ltd wif Ivan and Jun today! so damn lame n funny show. really laughed from start till end of the show. I am introducing it to my aunts and uncles! they'll like it. wahaha... we had lunch wif Ally too at Japan Village. Sushi was great and the desert was not too bad. well... its quite a short ( i would say for me... ) day out. all because i would like to be home early to prepare and get ready for 2ml's interview. not as frightened and nervous as the first attempt. but more determined to succeed.

Considerate
Considerate?? somehow i am really appalled by what i've experienced yesterday. Shocked to see that people can be so inconsiderate. making noises, laughing loudly despite seeing me sleeping. they were playing games around me. and they cannot bother to stay low. frustrated, i left my bed to sleep elsewhere and they continued even louder. worst when i used actions to show my unhappiness, they ignored me. some tell me i shld just tell them off. but on my state of frustration i noe if i blow my top, i'm gonna be super nasty wif words. and its definitely not gonna be pleasant. does these games really gt them so engrossed that they just can shut themselves away from whats happening around them? to me its basic ethics. but i am appalled by their actions.

CNY visiting...
today was a whole day of CNY visiting. it sounds kind of late. its due to my bangkok trip lo. went 3 relatives places today. eat, watch TV, gamble, chit chat. what else can we do during CNY?? haha. but i have to say that i felt good. the family warmth, reunion and gathering. of coz more ang pows!! the best was still the gambling. won a little cash too. ~grinz~
we were chatting about the bangkok trip and since i am gonna ORD soon ( 6++ months more), my aunties suggest that i could open a shop. entrepreneurship, start my own business with their support. its a gd idea and i've ever thought of that too. have my own shop, get products from bangkok and other countries like hong kong, taiwan, korea.. etc. but my plan for that is in the long run. i hope to learn more, get a relevant degree before i start one. in the short term i wan a job as a cabin crew after i ORD. fly a few years, save up, get a degree, more working experience before i start one myself. moreover, i wanna start it all by myself without any financial aid from my family. lots of thinking after the discussion. and i still strongly wan my steward job. time flies.. the next interview is a week from now.
as of what i mentioned in my previous posts... SHIOK not to book in on sunday. relax a bit on my sunday nite. watched TV, surf the net. i openend my vodka (pear flavour). a little booze. and also a bottle of Barcadi Breezers, like the lime taste. hmmz...... tats the way of life!!! =D

KungFu Dunk
I'm BACK from my outfield training. Kind of fun actually but tiring lo. A new experience, Valentine's Day in the jungle. haha!! LOLZ!! anyway its ok for me as i've got no valentine. haha. well, i just watched Kung Fu Dunk and it was ok la. the story plot is abit lame. but the effects quite gd. rather comical too. interesting and exaggerating basketball skills combined wif kung fu. not bad... worth watching!! i give it... 3 stars!! =D

Levis - Poor customer service
I was totally pissed off wif the Levi's store sales assistant at Lucky Plaza. I am very insatisfied and irritated wif the f**k up attitude and service. Wanted to buy a shirt at the same time get rebates using my membership card. But the staff was simply .... ARGGHHH!!!!....... RUDE!
1) firstlly, he ignored me for mins when i stood right in front of him when i wanted to make
payment for my purchase! he just carried on meddling with his stuff at the counter.
2) another staff approached and wanted to help. but i was told i could not redeem my
accumulated points. and only could get 20% off or accumulate my points.
3) then he told me i could redeem my points. I agreed. He later mentioned that i could only
redeem $20 with 50 points for purchases under $100. I wanted to ask for full redemption.
4) he den continued blabbering about the stupid redemption of points. which was to me....
incomprehensible.
5) agitated, i decided not to buy anything. and waited outside while jian hong make his
payment. However, he continued telling jian hong about his stupid points redemption policy
when i left the store as though i am invisible. THAT REALLY IRRITATED ME MOST!!
SO DAMN BLOODY INFURIATING!!! firstly, u ignored me when i wanted to pay. den u tell me i could not redeem the points. den u tell me i could redeem for a certain amt. next u were blabbering some nonsense which i could not understand. den when u bloody see ur customer getting angry AND YOU F**KING CONTINUED TO TALK ABOUT THE POINTS TO MY FRIEND!!! as though i was being unreasonable!!! i gave him my bloody middle finger before i left!!!
mind u!! i could have made a scene when u ignored me when i wanted to pay and, when u refuse to allow me to redeem points and allowed me again. WHAT YOU WANT?? IS THAT HOW U TREAT YOUR CUSTOMER!!! i was a retail staff and i know the difficulties in ur job. but u could at least say politely to me about the points redemption. or at least apologise for letting the customer wait! i've never encountered such bad service before. moreover... such service from Levis!!! and if customers really lodge a complaint .. BLAME IT ON URSELF!!! BLOODY HELL!!!!!
i really wanted to lodge a complaint. but forget it! i shall be nice! but i am still FUMING while sitting in front of my laptop typing this post and recalling what happened just now!!!

i was wondering about what happenend last week. can't believe human being can be so selfish at times. is ur reputation, promotion more important than the health and lives of 22 others?? somehow i doubt we are trusted. And all the stuffs we had done and been through.... all gone down the drain... unappreciated. sometimes humans are really unpredictable. u never expect them to behave how they are when they encounter stress or problems. ~ shruggz ~

My first credit card
YEAHHH!!! i recieved my first credit card today!!! The Citi Clear Card. It is for NSF and students. Credit limit is $500 per mth. However, i must really refrain from using it unless a need arises. The bill at the end of the mth is still the scary part. haha. but it does have lots of priviledges and card discounts like :
1) Zouk - free entry on wed, fri and sat
2) Cafe Cartel - 10% off total bill, 20% off total bill between 2pm - 5pm on weekdays
3) Party World KTV - 10% off total bill
4) Gelare - 10% off total bill min spend of $10
and much much more.........
haha... not bad i can say. I think its worth getting one as you might know when u will need it. =D

Realisation
Been thinking alot since this morning. I am greatly affected by the failure. Very DISAPPOINTED!! Though i realised that most of it is my fault. Well... regret that i could have done better. Much better. Most importantly, I know myself that i really want the job. Its the passion for the job - I want to fly and be a cabin crew. Its one of my aspiration. Nonetheless, I will strive to do better. Failure is the road to success. I believe I will do better next time round. And one day i'll go through all 3 rounds and get the job. Looking forward to the next opening. Self-relection to improve myself. Will work harder!!
Disappointment
Disappointed leh.. think i spoke too little. Did not make it to round 2. will try again during the next opening. :(

Woke up early today!! went to bank to help mum change for small denominations. Went library thereafter to borrow books. ( i'm hooked on to reading!!) The food served at the Cafe was European Style. Loved my Prawn Linguine. N the seafood platter. Especially the dory.. damn good. but its kind of expensive!! The Tequilla also not bad. Still.. there's no harm trying la!! At least the atmosphere & ambience is good. I quite like the place. Chjimes!! Good experience. =D

It was great to be at Esplanade. Been some time since i've been there. Went up the roof terrace. Shiok!! haha... but too many people up there le... A pity my cam batt went flat. if not i could have taken more picx. Especially at the roof terrace which overlooks the Marina IR construction site.
Esplanade did brought back many memories.. both good and bad ones. Sometimes really wonder y ppl change.. especially drastic kinds. Is it beacause of the environment they are in?? I really wonder.. wonder.. wonder......
