It was a haircut that went all wrong. The moment I was assigned the shampoo girl to cut my hair I felt not right. There were 3 other hair stylist but they were not assigned. Am I a guinea pig?
When she cut her fingers I felt even more uneasy. Then she started to shave my sides and then I saw the hole on my left. I kept quiet. Then she shaved my right and then it was all uneven. I told her it looks not right. She continued to shave my right side. Still it looks all wrongt. I am ready fuming as I look real cartoon. I stopped her and asked for the salon manager. She realised the mistake and took over. Still it ended up with my left side too thin and short till can see my scalp and my right side thicker.
I feel that it is not right to let an inexperience staff to do the cutting and snipping. Moreover, I am their loyal customer for 8 years. Instead, today I am their guinea pig. Still I was charged the full hair cut cost. They did not even apologised. This shall be my last time patronising. Never will I step in again.
I know we need to give newbies a chance but not this way. They need to ensure that newbies are ready before they take on the role. I am ready good enough not to have raised my voice. Given my character I would but I controlled.
I ended up with no choice but to go Kimage at J8 to seek help and was later adviced by the stylist to style it this way for the time being till my hair grows longer. I was even ready to pay additional $35 for a trim and hairwash but i was instead adviced and had my hair styled without paying a single cent.
I have been hearing good reviews on Kimage and my cousin have always been patronising Kimage too. I shall pay that few dollars more for Kimage next month. I hope I don't look too weird for now. SIGH!
