Injuries prevent me from performing.
10km run at East Coast was fun. good weather. I was determined to get a good timing. was pacing well and running at a comfortable pace until the pain started even before the 5km turnning point. feeling so damn shitty. however, being so determined to complete the test in 60 mins. i hanged on. was happy that i finally made it with the time of 57 mins 30 secs. but i knew well i could do much better. really thanks to vege, swee boon and Sg alan's encouragement during the last 100m. especially vege who ran with me. great to see that almost the whole platoon who took the test today passed.
got my MRI report on Monday. however the report said nothing much. nothing very serious. but the pain is still there. " i'll review you in 9 months" was the phrase that got me pissed off. firstly, my every appointment with that doctor is less than 5 mins. den since report din say much. he refused to see me until 9 months later. is that how a doctor shows his professionalism? feeling really helpless. i want to continue training n be back to 54Echo. but how can i train like that? i am now limping after the run. i cannot climb the stairs. really sad. i'll consult hospital doctor and chinese physician. i wan to recover. i hate the feeling right now, just like the chicken patty of Mc Spicy Chicken Burger. :(
another long weekend is here! thurs, fri, sat n sun! great! gonna get lotsa rest now... really drained out!!!
