Which part of your life is the best?

For me, I would say my Sec Sch days are the best. Most of it are worries free. Just play volleyball, study, hang out with friends etc. Except the muggings for exams and some family problems. Hmmm...... Come to think of it, humans grow up and change. At each stage of a person's life, things will change and a person change to adapt to the environment.

Its about a month time before i leave my job serving the nation. The worries of adulthood start to set in. Finding a good and suitable job. Supporting the family. Planning my future and career. So many things were on my mind these days. So many things for me to ponder over. Its a little vague at the moment. Though I had plans but as time passes, things change and i have to re-plan. Some felt that I had planned well. But I can say now that, I'm quite lost.

At times i tell myself that I wanna turn back time. Back to the days when everything is so good for me. Those were the best. Today, i've submitted 3 resumes. Its kind of early but i don't know why??? I just wanna start early. Maybe it's because i've failed to get in to SIA so many times that somehow i've just lost faith. Nontheless, the dream and interest is still there. But to be face reality, it is quite impossible at the moment. So i'll look for other jobs then. =)

WOW!!! the Batam Spa Villa looks so damn good. Especially the Ocean View spa. Temptations!!! The initial plan was to go there with my polymates. Haiz.... Too bad i've used up all my leave. All applied le. Gotta give it a miss den. Also, I feel that it's not wise for me to splurge on such luxury. Gotta think about my life after ORD. I won't be paid in Sep. haha.. =D

WHOSE FAULT??

Sometimes i just feel that the whole system is wrong. When you are given a priviledge, you will treasure it and put it to good use. But when others complain about "it" because they are not enjoying "it" too. They create a nuisance. And when such things happened, the person giving it is usually (or i can say, always??) right. The recipient will then be accused of mis-using "it" or taking things for granted. But because of the system, culture and practise that had been carried on for years, the recipient tends to be the innocent. I feel that it's unfair. Since i'm no longer going to be in this environement soon, I dun give a damn. I can't be bothered. Just feel sorry and sad for the others who has yet experience it.

Just back from watching The Dark Knight. Its a good show. Full of action pack stunts. I love Batman's car the most!! Damn cool!!! Can transform into a bike. Haiz.. Time really flies. Gotta book in soon lo... haha!!!

Sakae Sushi had always left me a good impression. But when rumours spread that it's standard has dropped, I did not believe it until today. It was a bad experience.

Our orders were taken wrongly. When we request for a change, we were turned down. They claimed that their staff took the orders according to what we told her. So we had to accept the wrong order. The assistant supervisor wasn't friendly at all. Showed an unhappy face when we request for a change. The complimentary miso soups that were supposed to be served were short of 3. The most unacceptable thing was, the 8 don that were served were all cold!! The rice was cold. The meat was not even considered warm. Such standard was untolerable.

Alex and me complained when we made payment. Though they compensated us with a 10% discount, but i am utterly disappointed with the whole experience. =(

But ice cream at Ben & Jerry's was utterly a form of indulgence. Its sinful too. haha. The live band performance is a plus for chilling out. The initial plan was to watch The Dark Knight. Too bad all tix were sold out. haha.. nevermind, Monday can watch also. =D

Circular Scald

Clumsy!!!!






Saw that nice circular red mark?? I scald myself accidentally. Mum used the brush to dry her hair and left it in the toilet. The clumsy me walked in and my arm brushed against it when it is still hot after it was used with a hair dryer. Felt a sudden burning sensation and then i noticed i scald my arm. LOLz!!! And YUP!! that stupid brush's tip is made of metal. So it was burning hot when i brushed against it.

Soar high

I remembered when I was a child, I always like planes. Whenever my parents brought me to Changi Village to pay my cousin and auntie a visit, I will always anticipate to see the planes soaring high above me. I will never forget the kind of anticipation and excitement.

When I was 3, my dream of taking a plane came true. That was my first flight and it was to Hong Kong. And it was my best flight. I can still remember the aeroplane model I got from the cabin crew as a gift. When I grew older, my cousin got a job as an air stewardress. That is when I started to get curious about the life of a cabin crew. I love travelling and I envy the life of a cabin crew. Having the chance to see the world, meet different people and experience the different cultures. Then I told myself, I want to be a cabin crew too.

Being to terminal 3 today, I reminsce my childhood days and the little dream i once had. I had tried before and I had failed before. And I told myself that, I will keep on trying and be stronger each time. Though I had also thought of other jobs that I would like to try but, this one is a very challenging one. The chances of getting in is low but i would like to challenge that.

This is the week I am getting myself prepared, both physically and mentally. I shall not let any other things affect me. Saturday is the day. I will work hard. And I want to soar. =)

Somehow i liked the pace things are going on now. Though it is tiring and I do complain at times. But I just feel that 1 week passed just like that. Without keeping track Saturday is here again, and i am at Connaught Drive for my NDP duty. Soon.... I tell myself, I will gain back my long awaited freedom.



Yeah!! Finally, I achieved my Marksman!! BMT was quite bad. Year 1 ATP i missed it by 3 shots. Year 2 Section Marksman, I GOT IT!!! Not bad though the incentive. Its good money to be saved up for use in September when I do not have pay/allowance. However, its a pity to say that somehow or rather, related to this matter, it has caused a fall out between me and a platoon mate.



I merely wanted to explain that it's bad to laugh at others who didn't make it despite putting in effort. However, he just didn't get what i am conveying. I was accused of "kicking up a big fuss" and being too serious over the incentive money. No doubt, I did fought back. He got a big lashing from me. I am trying to solve the unhappiness caused and to explain his mistake. But I am accused instead. WTF!! Sometimes it doesn't pay much to be nice. And i do agree. Shall no want to say much more. I'll let the matter rest. =(



Ok... I also don't know why i got 48 unique views after my SONY VAIOS post. Its quite shocking to get 20 unique views within an hour. And these views are from different location. Singapore, Malaysia, Russia, Turkey, India, United States, Pakistan and blah blah. But the views for other days were BAD!! haha... Its hard to maintain that in a week especially when I can't get to blog everyday. But at least I do earn a little here and there from my Cost Per Click. Keep working harder!!! LOLZ!! =D

After passing BTT. My dream of obtaining my car license is 1 step closer. However, with the hike ERP pricing, the cost of having a car is even more heavy. Its really alot. Just imagine driving into city area and you can easily pass through at least 3 gantries or more. That is for a day. Imagine for a month?? Each time i see my uncle tops up his cash card, the amount is usually $100.

Hike in oil pricing, GST, ERP pricing and bla bla bla. The cost of living in Singapore is getting higher and higher. How much do I have to earn a month to overcome such heavy expenses?? I really wonder!!!

My bro got a new notebook from my uncle for his b'day. SONY VAIOS!! and its champagne gold!! damn stylish. Nowadays laptops are cheap. $1999 and you can get a good one like VAIOS. My HP costs about $2700. The programme is of Windows Vista. Anyway I dunno much bout computer stuffs so i dunno which is better, Windows XP or Window Vista. LOLZ! =D

To be exact, I'm 2 months away from my freedom. Had been rather busy recently. But the pace that i'm moving was fast. And i believe this will last all the way till NDP is over. That's a good thing because without knowing so much, I am inching closer to the day I see my pink IC.

Its early. Can't get much of sleep. Woke up with a spinning head. Dunno why also. But its getting better now. I have a sudden urge to go see a doctor to get MC. After 3 off days, I dun feel like booking in tonight. LOLZ! Its always the case la... =D

My heart stopped for a second when I clicked on the "END TEST" button just now. Results shown thereafter was "PASSED". I finally made it. Now I can proceed on with FTT and my Practical lessons. =D

A Busy Week

It's a busy week. With all the preps for NDP. The preview show. Talks to attend. Shootings to do (my Marksman!!!). My BTT mugging. Its damn tiring. To let loose I went clubbing yesterday despite being so tired. It was great. Real fun. Feels so damn shiok. I was also busy with finishing my book, Grotesque. Its an engaging one. A book that tells the story in quite a unique and different way. Finally my off days are here. Phew!!

I had been isolating my blog for a week. So here's a little short post before i continue mugging. And thus, my views this week was bad. Diaoz!! Nevermind, at least it does makes so money. A little each week. =D
