I was late. Coz i came from family celebrations at uncle's place. Dinner at Sakura was great. The Claypot Drunken Prawn is a must try. Especially the soup!!! I did not ate much coz i already ate lots at uncle's place. Was super duper full. Had mostly deserts at Sakura. Not bad la... worth the price. =D

We headed to Cosy Bay thereafter to meet up wif more people!! We chilled, had red wine, chatted, count down to X'mas, exchanged presents and took photos. It was quite a memorable poly classmates X'mas Nite gathering. Its the first time we had such gathering after graduation. And the second time i spent X'mas at Cosy Bay. The last time was with Scream Club. A good place coz is less crowded and the scenery is good. Cooling too.... ('',)

Had a great time today at Siloso playing Volleyball. My all time favourite sport. Been some time since i've played. But it was damn shiok!! Recently got the urge to play. Today i've done it and i'm fulfilled! Just a pity i din get to play wif the net and court. Good to see Ally's improved volleyball skills. Ray can play quite well too. Ivan the funniest.. wahahah!!!! I wanna go Sentosa again. Anyone free?? I simply love beach life!!!! :D

Met Lynn today to pass her the Christmas present i got her. So glad she liked it! We had lunch T Ding Tai Fung. Xiao Long Bao & Pork Chop Fried Rice is simply unresistable!! ~droolz !!~ We shopped around till around 6pm before we parted. And i did my final Christmas Shopping too. Saw May wif her bf and a baby boy... he's soo cute. and May wanna bluff me that's her kid... ya ya....

Had dinner wif Ivan & gf Queenie, Yvonne, Ally, Alanis, Chye Eng & Efi & fren. A short gathering. Been some time since i saw Chye Eng. Good to see him getting bigger in size & tanned. We went for more shopping thereafter.

I bought my Skippy Choco Stripe Peanut Butter at Cold Storage! thanks to Xiao Ming's recommendation. Its really good. And its eaten straight from the bottle. Yum!! Now i know why May Anne liked it so much. :D

That's the aftermath of digging! Its heavenly..... YUM!! however, its really sinful. Unhealthy and fattening too. Occasional eating is fine yeah! Its really filling. And ... i'm FULL now!! bought a box of 6 cream puff from Chewy Juniors. Likewhat the name says ... its chewy and best served chilled. it has a doughnut-like filling on top of the puff. overall rating is that i still prefer doughnuts. it ain't that fantastic!

I've finally managed to finish wrapping all my presents. Hmm.... nice huh?? Wrapping service!! anyone?? but i do charge!! LOLZ!! 2ml's going to Sentosa!!!! i'm having a Volleyball crave!! :D

Its like November just passed not too long ago. But today is already 20th. 11 more days till the end of December and soon we'll all greet 2008 with high spirits and much anticipation. So far been busy in and out of camp, physio sessions, Christmas shopping and preparation, meeting up with frenx and ....... (the list just goes on). Time in camp this month is just short. I can say this is the month that i spent my time most in the civilian world. Really enjoy it. Counting down ... 5 more days till X'mas...... 4 more days till X'mas Eve Celebrations (its party time!!!!!!!). And i'm really looking forward to it!! :D

woke up this morning with quite a foul mood. dun wanna say so much... its always the same. it'll forever be the same. but i am learning.. such mini set-backs did not affect me mood for the day. i enjoyed retail therapying. went to shop for X'mas present for Lynn and to get x'mas card for Geetha. and i went shopping for clothes. bought a hoodie from Zara. like the design. especially the thin material. suitable for humid weather in s'pore. bought my Mr. Silly tee from Topman. Hmmmzzzz........... the best buy today was from River Island. I bought a white jacket for $50 off!!!! and a metal studded word.. "TOKYO" tee for Chinese New Year. (its early ... its coz i dun wanna squeeze with the crowd). met ivan, alanis and ally thereafter at Bugis for dinner n discussion for x'mas celebration. got some research to do liaoz.... can't wait for next monday's celebrations n partying.... haha! 2ml going for my first Physiotherapy session and book in thereafter. will be back on wednesday nite lo.

had a gathering with my besties - Lynn & Jacky yesterday. we had dinner @ Vivo's, Marche. simply love the rich Creme of Mushroom Soup, Rosti wif Cheese Chicken Sausage and Baileys Moouse. i like the design of the restaurant. so nice and warmth. nice x'mas feel too. its a pity jacky gotta work.. so he can't join us. we shop ard after that as while waiting for jacky to knock off. went Mac after tat to chat before heading home. and was really touched that lynn got me a x'mas present. the sweater was nice. Thanks a million!!!! i'm gonna get her's later..... haha... yuppie!!! i recieved geetha's card too!!!! thank u sooooo much. i'm gonna send her one soon. hope that she'll recieve it on time. really miss that mad gal. must be enjoying her life back in England. lolz!~ no need book in tonite!!! hurray!!! ~

quite a busy week again...

it was a busy week once again. with all the parade rehearsals for today's parents' visiting day. all the preparation work to do and setting up was really never ending. designed the graffiti for our bunk windows too. it was really nice and had a great x'mas feel. too bad there were some red eyes in the company. they vandalised it. it was expected. the most fun thing in camp this week wasn't the x'mas celebration. but was the surprised water polo game CO came up wif. we were all resting in bunk when he came in all of a sudden. he gave us only 3 mins to get change and get everyone at the swimming pool for the game. i managed to score 1 goal. it was super fun. though we lost and had to be punished. i truly enjoyed it. CO... more water polo games???? :D

yesterday i went to see my ortho and he said that i am suffering from Stress Changes. its mild and its due to prolonged carrying of heavy weight. what to do?? i'm a signaller of cuz my load is more. 2 months of physio is required to strengthen my muscles before the next review. my knee hurts too during and after the parade today. damn sian... haiz...

monday's is a battalion off. and i had physio on tues morning. so i'll only book in after my physio's appt. but wed will book out again coz of thur's hari raya haji. ahha.. another long weekend. and... x'mas is coming lo!!!!! can't wait!!... and my 22nd b'day is coming again....

how can i forget??? TODAY IS EXACTLY 9 MONTHS TILL ORD!!!!!!!! its really coincidental. several times when i meet up wif my BMT bros... its always exactly on the day of our ORD next year. haha.. :D

met up wif jian hong, marcus & gf, bao wei, jason and davin today for lunch at AMK hub's New York New York. i had the Alfredo Chicken Penne. ok only but very filling. headed to Marina Square for movie. and i watched The Heartbreak Kid again. haha... dun ask me y. but i just dun mind watching it again. haha. however, marcus and davin could not join us. went bowling after that and .... i played damn badly. sucks. dinner was at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe. and i did something which i wun normally do at Xin Wang. i dunno y i could have the courage to..... hmm.... shall not elaborate any further... wahah... :)

how time flies. enjoyed hanging out wif these great bros. tml's sunday and i gotta book in again. my 1 week of block leave's coming to an end. 2ml's celebrating auntie's birthday. :)

I went shopping again today! and i bought 2 tops from SideWalk ( at Far East Plaza), 1 from Spin the Bottle and 1 from Dresscode ( at The Cathay ). I simply love these concept stores that sells such unique T-shirts. The designs are cool & funky. Some are like the only piece imported. So chances of meeting someone wearing the same thing as me is quite unlikely. Hmmz..... i'm such such a T-shirt guy.

met ivan for dinner at Japan Village. its quite worth the price. especially the soft shell crab maki which sells for 99 cents per plate!! we watched The Heartbreak Kid with the 2 free complimentary tickets that i got from the Hugo Boss XY promotion. its a damn hilarious movie. no doubt, ben stiller is a good comedy actor. met jun rong after that for a drink at The Roomful of Blues. its a bar with live band. not too bad. had a pine of Hoe Garden. its quite good. good beer and ambience. a nice place to chill.

yup... i saw that 4 digit once again. REMEMBER to buy 4D!! :)

X'MaZ ShoppinG!!

I went X'mas shopping today!!! and i bought quite a number of present lo!!!! but.. i'm still short of a few. If not for this week's leave, i really would not have sufficient time to get presents. went shopping with aunt today. and.... we went back with really many bags of presents.

X'mas is one of the festive seasons which i look forward to. i like being Mr. Santa giving presents away. i like to see the smiles on my cousins faces when they recieve my presents. people always wonder why i am willing to spend so much during x'mas. to me, its once a year only. only every year this time will everyone spend this special occasion together, eat, celebrate and party. and i would to spend this special moment with my love ones too!

oh shit... i haven done the template for the decorations for my bunk windows. gotta get it done soon. gotta go ZZZZZZZ liaoz.... more x'mas shopping 2ml!! :)

Extraordinary Job

today i learnt about an extraordinary job from terry. to me its extraordinary. its a job that requires patience and discipline. mutual trust and responsiblity is needed amongst team members too. it has only a HQ and no office. the employees gather all at fast food restaurant and kopitiam to work. its not my cup of tea. so i had to reject the job offer. but i learnt something today and i made a new friend, terry.

i really dunno how i should elaborate about the job. its one that requires you to put in a sum of money to open a "so called" a/c. the job scope is to take in more ppl under you so as to reap more benefits and earn more money. these people are also your customers. the customers will gain benefits from rebates monthly too. the wider your connection, the more you and your team members will gain.

its good to learn and see more. it helps me understand myself better too. such job is not my cup of tea though there are many people who earn lots of money. to me finding a job that makes me happy and contented working is more important than money. its the satisfaction and joy you gain at the end of the day that is more crucial.

finally there's a time to clear leave & off. however, gotta go back for guard duty on tues afternoon. its worth it .. coz its counted as weekend duty as we are mounting duty during battalion off. so ya... 1 less duty to do in future.

i'm back from swimming. feels damn good after a swim and tan. quite a sunny day today. yup... gotta exercise more lo.. been putting on weight and adding calories to my body over the past week. gonna burn them all!!!! BURN! BURN! moreover... the week after out off we gonna have IPPT test. gonna maintain my silver standard yeah. if not those stupid RT will come and haunt me again.

yesterday's Friendship Night @ PLC marks the end of the 2 weeks bilateral exercise with Indonesia. the programme last night was quite fun actually. the traditional dance (the indons call it) was interesting except that it doesn't quite suit the title of the show as there were steel rods breaking stunts and glass eating people. but can say that the indons are sporty people as there sang and danced to all the songs, and they just party and enjoyed themselves. different compared to when they were serious and focus during training. the guy beside me wanted to exchange watches with me which i declined his offer. haha.. i prefer my watch still despite him wanting to trade me his Swiss watch. its my birthday present this year ya so no exchange!

today's dec 1 2007!! the last month of 2007. a new year is coming and worth anticipating for. 2008.. i'll ORD and step into the working world. its gonna a start a new chapter of my life. gonna think of my new year resolutions lo. oh yupz.... HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY MAY!!!! :)

a short time off. bone scan.

i have a little time off today due to my bone scan for my left knee at TTSH. now i'm at home because i've got 3 hrs to spare before i could go for the scan. had my injection for the scan at 8.45am and got to report back for the scan at 12.15pm. well.... 3 bloody hrs .... wat can i do at TTSH, novena sq or sq 2?? haha... so i'm home..... :)

this week was a rather busy week. monday was doing enemy simulation at BUA. FUN!!!unfortunately, i fell sick with diahrroea, bad flu and slight fever on tues. was lying on bed in bunk for the whole damn day except cleaning weapon and meal times. hate to be sick. Yesterday.. I RECOVERED!!!!! and went to do fatigue work outfield. it was fun going outfield with my commanders! and ........ the great feeling of 11 people on a jeep!! SHIOK!!!! wahhhaaa!!! today's the closing ceremony for SAFKAR. tml will be dinner wif Indons at PLC. and den.... BOOK OUT!!!!! looking forward to the hopefully granted week's off next week!!!!!!!! :D

coping mini-set backs....

there's one thing that i should learn. that is to cope wif mini set-backs. learn not to let such miniature stuff affect my mood for the day. most of the time i am affected. now i need to learn. coz i will be facing larger challenges in life after ORD when i am in the working world.

hmmz.. i gonna fall sick soon. woke up this morning with an uneasy throat. but I AM NOT GONNA LET IT AFFECT MY DAY!!! :D

Contradiction

Contradiction. In life we tend to contradict the things we do and say. I agree to a large extent. For example, one may dislike another person's attitude but he himself possess the qualities he dislikes. sometimes... we should really think before we speak, so as to prevent making contradictory statements. i've experienced it this week though. hmmz.... how to put it??? really dunno if i should laugh over it or be sad for him.

Giraffe is quite a nice place to dine and chill with a group of frenx. business is quite good. alanis actually did advance booking. hmmz.... i tink pictures speak louder than words ......................... :D

its munching time!!! the food great! the appetitzers are good. especially the bread wif their specialty sauce, the cheese nachos and chicken karage. cocktails are good too. but i like my Arabiata tagellate with chicken franks the most! the tiramisu there is a must try. its my first time there.. hmmz.. highly recommended!! good food and ambience!! :)

after the dinner only jun, ally, alanis, jun rong and me headed to a pub opposite Paradiz Centre for second round of drinking. ( i can't remember the pub's name... ) i had cocktail and red wine previously... Screwdriver was next at pub. jun wanted more and she suggested Long Island. but the waiter recommended "Around the World". its strong wif a mixture of different hard liquors and pineapple juice. IT WAS GOOD!!!!! lolz.. after which we headed home.

feeling damn good after rounds of drinking!! its been some time since i drank. but Around the World did offered some kick after sometime. luckily after so many mixtures of alcohol last night i din got drunk. and i took train home. haha!
