Decided to make my own lunch. found some softmeal bread and mozarella cheese in the kitchen and some ideas popped out suddenly.

however, since i was watching videos in my room i literally forgot tat i left the bread in the toaster until i smelt someting burning. but it was all too late. it was burned!! for the second one, i stayed on till it was done. and it does look better. den thought that it was quite plan so i decided to add something else. i found mushrooms and tomato paste in the fridge. PIZZA!!! ........

really got nothing to do at home!! sianz... no programmes for saturday and the sky was black since this morning. and now it is like starting to rain with thunder. so sianz... haiz.. anyway got to get going. gonna go granny's place for dinner. but i am like still damn full now. its been more than 2hrs since i ate my lunch. anyway my miniature mushroom pizza taste real good. its simple and easy to make. no harm trying!! =D

I am sooo forgetful these days. I went swimming today without my googles. After gym, i can't do my laps and thus resulted in getting a tan. Guess what?? I misplaced my suntanning oil. All the while I thought I had finished using it but I left it in another bag. I was totally handicapped swimming without googles. I can't see and I dunno where I am swimming. Also, I left home today without my keys. Thus, resulting in my mum leaving the keys in the shoe cabinet for me, so I could get into the house after my gym and swim. A series of events that happenend today really shows how forgetful and "blur" I could get at times. ~sigh~

Comedy - Harold & Kumar

This movie is damn funny!!! Especially the "C**K Meat Hotdog". Simply hilarious. Dun understand why Jian Hong say not funny. The whole theatre was laughing lo. Now i wanna watch the part 1. haha. Went to shop around with Alex and Boo. Had dinner at Marina's Spageddies together and my UOB NOW card got 15% off total bills. That's what i like about such cards. Dinner was great and i like my Crayfish and Chicken Combo, and the chocolate milkshake. nice! decided to go the Singapore Flyer. Its very nicely infrastructured. Did not go for the ride. Coz its meant to go with my special someone. (where's she??) But there's Popeye fastfood chain there. The food looks more appetising than KFC. lolz.

Shit!! i'm now spending a little part of my savings. i wan my allowance soon!! OHH!! my bro received his NS medical checkup appointment booking notification today. its time i ORD and he enlist soon. haha... ORD.. ORD.. ORD!!!! =D

Well... must be wondering why i am blogging huh! Yes!! i booked out. coz tonite's champion league final! (if i'm not mistaken! sorry i'm not a soccer fan!) and we had the priviledge of booking out for the match and booking in again tml morning at 11am. back to camp and i'm assigned a task to do. tat is to organise a chalet for the platoon. err... anyone has recommendations for cheap and big chalet? i mean BIG enough to house about 35 people at least. quite a headache and i've gotta do research later. oh my!!!

Was chatting with aunt and uncle on saturday and ... YES!!! they are planning for a trip to SPAIN in Jan 2009!!! I want to go!!! well.. i also gotta see if my future employer and work schedules permits me to apply for leave. Travelling!! and to an European country is something that i am always hoping for! ;D

I juz went swimming for the intention of getting a tan, and i actually forgot to bring my sun tanning oil. Thus, i could only lie under the sun for less than 30 mins to prevent getting too much UV rays. WTH!!!!!!

I cannot deny tis fact but human beings changes with the environment and throughout time. I am sooo damn angry and irritated when i say the msg at 6am. (because it always happen liddat!!) You are the one who asked us out. And you are the one who changes your mind at the very last minute everytime. If you are not sincere to meet your friends den dun ask them out and stood them out. Truly disappointed of the change in your attitude. Is this what you called best friends? 9 years of friendship and is this what we get in the end? i dunno and i'm very disappointed.

Movies - What we did in Vegas & Speed Racer

Watched movies on fri & sat! they were What Happens in Vegas & Speed Racer respectively.



Quite nice. The way Speed Racer was film was quite unique. the background looks so cartoon. i like the chimpanzee. so cute. haha. the racing cars are all so cool. can have razors to cut other car's tyres. its not realistic but once in a while, its good to have some imagination. I never knew Rain could speak English so well. But i like the part when Rex Racer actually was not dead. He joined the CID to bring the bad to justice. But he had to go for plastic surgery to not let his family knew of his existence. One thing that i hoped for was the ending that the whole family reunite after Speed Racer won the Grand Prix. However, they did not reunite with Rex and he had to bear the consequences of his actions. Abit sad though...


I prefer What Happens In Vegas. Its a story of 2 person meeting in Vegas. They were arranged to stay in the same hotel room together with each of their friends. They went for a night of party and fun. Got drunk and decided to get engaged in their drunken state of mind. Its was a foolish act. They wanted to file for divorce. Coincidently, the male lead put a coin (which belongs to the female lead) into the jackpot and they won 3 million dollars. They decided to file for a divorce but was unsuccessful. The judge wanted them to stay together for 6 months before the next hearing. Within the 6 months they had always tried to got rid of each other using many stupid and funny methods but to no avail. They fall in love but still they divorced half a year later. They realised that they really loved each other and decided to get married again.

Looking Back......



I'm stepping into a new phase of my life in about 3 months time. Looking back at my army life from the start of BMT till now, I can say i learnt alot and gain alot. Most importantly, i feel that i had grown up.

Starting all from "chao" recruits till a recee trooper, the road had never been easy at all for me. "How far is far? How high is high? you'll never know until you try." this phrase had brought quite an impact on me. Saw this phrase on a poster at Hawk Company platoon 4's toilet. Many things in life i had experienced failures. But if you give up after set backs, den feel sorry and regretful. Its always not the end of the world. That's when i learnt to try. Even if u never succeed, at least you ever take the first step. And you'll live with no regrets. You'll know how far you can go. This had allowed me to gauge or to see how far i can go many aspect of my life. And i can say, i had never regretted. Regardless of relationships, career or anything, never give up.

From a trainee till a trooper in 5SIR, things were harder. Training was tough and demanding. Expectations were high too. Times were tough but today, i can say its proud to be a scout. Especially in 5SIR 13th Mono Scout Platoon. The cohesiveness and bond forge brought us success and miracles. We created miracles in ATEC evaluation. We were recognised for our hard work. Its not the rewards given that make it recognisable. But the acknowledgement from people that makes all the hard work all worth it. Though i was not able to join in most of the training but i'm always with the platoon. And i had always tried my best. Thumbs up and we are the best! At this moment, i had to agree, " Pain is temporary, Glory is forever!"

Army had taught me to be tolerant and to control my emotions and temper. It had made me realise alot of things. It had made me realise the importance of time. Every second is precious. I had made good friends. Close buddies and brothers!

Looking ahead, i'm kind of worried. I had planned my future. But as long as my first step is unsuccessful, all my plans are screwed. Not say screwed but not the ideal. Not what i wanted. I hope i can get in to SIA. Its a dream to fufil. But i have to give myself a time limit. That is by Feb 2009, if i am still unsuccessful in my attempts for cabin crew, i will give it up. I might consider joining MOE. And take up a degree with NIE. They are offering good terms. Teaching ever crossed my mind. Its also one of my alternatives. At this point in time thats all i can plan of. Its kind of a headache. For my dream, i will work hard. Next sun will be my 4th attempt. My aim.. is to at least get into round 3. Thats all i hope for. Shall just take a step at a time. But the ultimate goal is to pass all rounds. Pray for me! =D

Zouk and Phuture was great!! been such a long time since i've club. SHIOK!! great music at Phuture, dance, alcohol and fun. Saw many people from 5SIR too. Ken, Nickie, Eric and blah blah. saw Shaun Fan too! haven saw him since sec sch. and thanks to ken for his treat (redbull vodka). and its the first time i tried tequila pop. its NICE!!!! went for breakfast at this indian stall. had maggie goreng pattaya. taste abit weird but still ok la. reached home at 6.20am. went to sleep but was woken at 9.30am by a stupid call. irritating!! and i was hyper from den till now!!!!

aching all over

woke up wif aches all over my body. but fresh and good. its good to exercise. but.. tink i'm falling sick. been coughing quite often now and my phlegm is green. ewww...!!! nontheless, i simply love my 2 weeks of off days. so free. do wad i like and want everyday. 3++ more months and i can't wait for that day to come. hehe.. i can see my freedom, its near me and i can feel it. =D

Shopping Spree

Recently when i go town i will see people from my unit. Today I saw Jimmy. Singapore is small ... especially when the whole battalion is on off. You'll get to see familiar faces wherever you go. I'm broke now. Went shopping spree with Beng. All because i was didn't manage to get shirts from Taipei. Bought 2 shirts from Fox, 1 from Domanchi and a tee from Puma.

Well, I have to comment on the customer service at Domanchi. It was good. The staff was polite. He provided recommendations, suggestions and description of their products. Was impressed by his service. Both of us bought 3 shirts which amount to $240++. Good products, service and discounts made my purchase worth it. Spent quite a bomb today (feeling rather sinful) and i've gotta start saving up for my May bills. Dinner was Char Siew Ramen at Orchard Shopping Centre but i forgotten the shop name. The decor of the shop does makes me feel like i'm in Tokyo.

Collected my Creative Zen today. The LCD screen was replaced. Its charging now. And i found out that all my files were gone. Gotta re-copy files back after charging. Sianz. And why does my gadgets always have problem with the LCD??? My laptop was like that the other time!! ~diaoz~

Blue Mint Chocolate & delicious Cup Noodles

Bought this Mint Chocolate from Taipei. And its blue!!! Its from the shop, Sophisca. It sells sweets and chocolates mainly and they come in many interesting packaging. Like the plaster chocolate (u see from the pic above), marshmallow in sanitary pad or french fries form, chocolates in condoms and many many more. Its unresistable and i bought a few back for my cousins. I'm glad they like it.

Those are cup noodles that you will never find in S'pore. The one on the bottom right contains meat in it. And its the best. I wanted to get more of these back but because of baggage weight i wan unable to. My uncle and brother love it lots. Haiz... i really can't get enough of Taipei. haha!! =D

Exercise Exercise

Feeling fresh now. Finally exercised. Since Chinese New Year i had not been going much exercise. Worse when i was in Taiwan. Ever since i injured my knee i had never done any exercise at all. Now that i'm back.. its time to. Swam 20 laps and jogged for 2km. Shiok. haha. but my knee wasn't tat gd still. Can feel the weakness and the shaky feeling after tedious activity. At least i am doing exercise on my own pace. And i will not over stress it.

Uuplanned Outing

It was an unplanned outing!! Went to send my Creative Zen for repair and bought 3 books from Times. Was about to go home when Lynn called to meet for lunch. Accompanied her for her job interview at Starhub. Den went Lucky Plaza to look for Jacky. George joined us thereafter. Had dinner together b4 i went home. So it was an unplanned gathering after all. Great to see them too.

Saw Weida, Stanley and Kelvin at orchard today. WTH!!! all of them are with gf. like all hanging out at Orchard today. haha. wad a coincidence. Yaya.. all giving me tat stupid look. Lynn's my good friend. Nothing more than that. Moreover she's attached to George la. Haha.. people always misundertsand me. lolz....

Its quite an enjoyable trip. Its bloody 35 days. Definitely home sick. but the R&R at Taipei was damn shiok. The hotel was good too. VIP hotel. 10 to 20 mins ride from our hotel to Shilin Night Market or Xi men Ding. There are also restaurants and stalls along the streets of the hotel. And a supermarket less than 2 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient and the price is quite reasonable. About 2000NT (SGD$100) per night. Can consider it if you are planning a free and easy trip to Taipei. Great hotel facilities. Got plasma TV too. Its rather cosy too. Well.... i just can't get enough of Taipei. The educational tour wasted some time. Everyday was quite a mad rush. Did not get the chance to go club too. The club, Larva, there only requires you to pay entrance fee (about SGD$20) and you'll get to enjoy free flow of drinks whole night. Saying so much here.. i really want to go Taipei again. 1 week of free and easy tour should be enough. But really need to save up lots. Coz its not cheap yea. =D
